With the year coming to an end and Thanksgiving Day couple days ago I was looking back at 2017 and thinking how extraordinary this year has been so far. I wanted to share my career highlight of this summer – attending a celebration of the launch of Harper’s Bazaar 150 Years: The Greatest Moments where I met Christian Louboutin and Harper’s Bazaar editor in-chief Glenda Bailey – the experience I am extremely grateful for.
If you are following me on Instagram stories you’ve probably seen me spending couple of amazing days in Paris in May, and now finally I’ve prepared a blog post to relive it all again.
On the 15th of May I left rainy London to arrive to sunny and hot Paris where I rushed to Bistrot Valois – the coffee shop where Christian Louboutin buys his morning cappuccino and where Glenda Bailey hosted an intimate conversation and meet & greet with Christian Louboutin to celebrate the launch of Harper’s Bazaar 150 Years: The Greatest Moments book.
Time from time I had to pinch myself to realise that all this wasn’t a dream and that I am actually talking with the most famous shoe designer whose high-end stilettos with red-lacquered soles I absolutely adore.
The event continued to Christian Louboutin boutique at Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau (aka shoe heaven) for a private shopping event.
Next morning started with a private tour of the Schiaparelli atelier on Place Vendôme (spectacular interiors of a boutique deserves a separate blog post which is coming very soon) which was followed by a grand finale of 2 day celebration – party and book signing.

The reason why I wanted to share this experience is not to show off but to inspire not to be afraid of dreaming – don’t be afraid because you don’t know how to achieve your dream, that will come to you in time. You will figure it out, you will make a plan and you will do it!
If anybody told me even a year ago that I will have an opportunity of being a part of this extraordinary experience, I would have never believed it. The invitation was a very pleasant surprise and I am eternally grateful to people who made it possible.
Dream! Believe! Achieve!
