How To Wear A Biker Jacket And Look Feminine

Posted In: My Outfits

I’m all for the girly and more feminine looks, but sometimes I like to kick back a little and put on something more edgy. And the easiest way to “edge” the outfit up is to wear a biker jacket. It is versatile, stylish and takes your outfit from boring to completely thought out.

My outfit was inspired by biker chic trend which I absolutely love. I was always a big fan of leather jackets but this season I replaced leather with suede. It’s softer, trendier and makes you look more feminine. It’s a perfect to create a balance between masculine and feminine looks.

Even though I wanted to wear something edgier and less girly I had to be faithful to true me (otherwise I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this outfit) so I had to add feminine details to quite a powerful outfit. This is why I chose to pair leather trousers with lace top, add super feminine Sophia Webster’s heels and accessorise the overall look with a statement ring which instantly adds more glamour to the outfit. True biker chic!

Where to wear it?

This is my favourite outfit for fashion parties, art exhibitions and any other events where I am going to be surrounded by a trendy and hipster crowd. It’s perfect when you don’t want to look too dressy but still need to appear stylish. I also wear it for drinks with my girlfriends or even a date when I want to feel very confident and a bit powerful with a bit of attitude. It’s a powerful masculine look with feminine details which can really changes the way you feel about yourself.

I think the softness of the suede helps with making it a more feminine look and I love the colour.

I love the dark teal colour, and I like it in suede. Less practical in wet weather but gorgeous.

Oh yes, suede jacket is probably the worst idea when you are living in London but it’s so pretty 🙂

That is a lovely look, and I am very envious of the lovely shoes. I twisted my knee skiing and cannot even hope to wear anything like that for a long while.
